Hide or Show a Grade Column to Instructors, TAs and Graders

The Grade Center has features that allow Instructors, TAs and Graders to customize the way data in the Grade Center is displayed to make information easier to enter and review.  This includes the ability to hide or show grade columns in the Grade Center.

You may wish to hide Grade Columns that do not need to be regularly updated or reviewed in order to make Grade Center easier to view.  Hiding columns does not delete or alter column information, and columns can be restored to view at any time.

Note: Hiding a Grade Column does not make information in that Column invisible on students’ My Grades page.  To set students’ ability to see data from a Grade Column, see Hide or Show a Grade Column to Students).

To hide a column:

In Grade Center:

  1. Click the double arrow action link beside the title of the column you wish to hide.
  2. Click Hide Column.

To show a hidden column:

In Grade Center:

  1. Click on the double arrow action link on the Manage button.
  2. Click Column Organization.
  3. On the Column Organization screen, click the checkbox next to the column you wish to display.
  4. Click on the Show/Hide button and click Show Selected Columns.
  5. Click Submit.
